On the Waterfront Festival

On the Waterfront is back!

After a highly successful 2023, On the Waterfront returns to Liverpool's world famous Pier Head in 2024 for a weekend of events from Thursday 20 - Sunday 23 June.

Much like the last edition, On the Waterfront 2024 promises to be one of the best events of the summer, with a fantastic location, stunning production, world-class talent, and an always up-for-it crowd. Set neatly in the shadow of the city’s Three Graces on one side, with the River Mersey on the other, the location is tough to beat and makes for a stunning atmosphere as the sun starts to set and the lights go up on the stage and the Liver Building itself.

With performances from the fantastic Ocean Colour Scene, Ben Hemsley and Deacon Blue, as well as comedy from Paul Smith + Hot Water Comedy...this event is not one to miss.

Travel Information

Customers travelling to and from the festival are advised to use Liverpool Central or Moorfields station.

Please be aware the escalators to the Wirral platform at Moorfields are not in service. People requiring the use of escalators should take a train from Moorfields to Liverpool Central via the Northern line, where they will be able to use the escalator to the Wirral line platform.

Due to the late finishing times of the shows, customers are advised to check the last train times when planning their journey, for ease, you can find these below. You can also check the last train times from James Street station by using our Journey Planner.
