Merseyrail is a 50:50 joint venture between Serco Group Plc and Transport UK. We also hold a 25 year concession agreement with Merseytravel.
We employ over 1,200 people providing almost 800 local train services across Merseyside every day. We manage 69 stations and have staff based at our train maintenance depots and in our head office ‘Rail House’ located in Liverpool city centre. We employ people in several business areas including customer Services, Train crew, Train Presentation, Revenue Protection as well as administrative and managerial posts.
